Joost!

I stumbled upon a page that hands out Joost invites. I've been waiting to try it out, as I've heard a lot about it.

I don't know if they've opened their invites, but I'm on it now, and I'm impressed with the technology. I just works. I turned it on and I watch video. I can search for content. So far, the advertizing has been more or less acceptable. I've seen a few popup video type ads and images when it switches content.

The real trick will be if someone like Alexa will use it. We'll see.
